Temporada 5

A Temporada 5 do Battle Royale iniciou-se em 12 de julho 2018. O tema "Mundos Colidem" foi revelado no teaser final e está programado para acontecer. O tema da Temporada 5 é uma mistura de crossover da era do mundo real depois que as fendas surgiram (da Temporada anterior) tirou vários objetos da ilha e invocou alguns objetos da vida real que foram virtualmente convertidos para tocar um papel em Battle Royale.

It also features a new map desert biome, brand new named locations such as Lazy Links, Paradise Palms and other POIs (Points of Interests). A new type of 4-player vehicle was also released on the initial patch. Interactive Fancy Toys feature that can be used in game as a golf ball, beach ball and basketball were also added as part of Battle Pass rewards. Starting in Season 5, progressive challenges will no longer be restricted to a single season and can now complete at personal pace.

Starting July 9th, Epic Games release a daily series of teasers that hints about the upcoming theme of the season. "Worlds Collide" theme has been revealed on the final teaser pre-season.

Battle Pass

The Battle Pass for Season 5 is available for purchase from the Item Shop for 950 V-Bucks. Free Pass players are given one daily challenge in Season 4. Battle Pass owners are given two additional daily challenges, as well as special Weekly challenges.

Toys

New Toys feature were added to Battle Royale which can be equipped through the locker under the emote slots. It can be used in-game to shoot basket ball, toss a Volleyball ball and swing the equipped pickaxe to hit the golf ball. Fancy Golf Ball (Tier 59), Fancy Beach Ball (Tier 75) and Fancy Basketball (Tier 91) can be obtained through Battle Pass rewards.

Map Changes

Map has been updated with new desert biome, major locations such as Paradise Palms, Lazy Links and few unnamed POIs . New maps took place on the previous mysterious artifacts that spawned in Season 4.

Week 1

• Paradise Palms has been replaced with Moisty Mire, Prison POI and stretches its border with a desert biome up to the Racetrack POI. It covers the coordinates: I6-J6, H7-J7, H8-I8 (previous location of the spawned stagecoach artifact), J8, G9-I9 (previous location of sets of skeletal bones artifact), G10-I10.
• Lazy Links has been replaced with Anarchy Acres and covers coordinates: F2-F3.
• A new Viking Outpost POI was added to B6 (previous location of anchor).
• The abandoned Dusty Divot has been fully covered with grassland, trees and small ponds.
• Semi-indoor Soccer POI on the north west of the map near Junk Junction was removed .
• Muddy Racetrack POI has been revamped with a concrete motorsport tracks.
• NOMS' sign was found at north east of Risky Reels.
• Durr Burget status was found on the mountain at E3, east of Pleasant Park.
• A mysterious sunken object with patterns can be seen at middle of the Loot Lake.
• A gooodbye sign was put out on Uncle Pete's Pizza Pit at Tomato Town
• Ancient statues have scattered on the maps; E8, E5 between Loot Lake and Dusty Divot, E9 and G3.

Weapon and Item Releases

Season 5 will introduce a variety of new weapons in Battle Royale ranging from limited-time items, utilities and a new vehicle. Patch v5.0 brings off a new ATK vehicle that can room 4 players and its roof acts as a bounce pad.
